| Just because nattlebuts was talking about bolwing, I remembered bowling with Missy and Amanda (and if you are ever wondering, and cause I love to annoy Graciy-poo, Nat is Grace and Grace is Nat, if you know what I am talking about, yippy.. if not, forget this part, that is why it is in between these things ->)
so.. um.. on, what I think was either the 1st or the 2nd, (sorry! I can only remember dates durning the school year) I left to go bowling with Amanda, and a few other people, didn't know who, so I leave the house, and realize that if one is going bowling, one needs socks, so, I walk back and get a pair. My dog was estatic that I had come back. so I leave, catch the bus, and not even 6 stops later, I realize that I don't have my phone, so I get off the bus and walk 1 1/2 blocks back to my house (UP HILL i might add, and I was still very swore from doing 25 min on the cross trainer at the gym) Arived back home, again, very happy puppy, call amanda to make sure that she knew I was still comming. So, I wait another 15 mins for the next bus, get on it, and I get all the way down out of my neighborhood, and down in to the gold course houses and apartments, and I get a call from Lulu (Lisa).
"Hello?" <- me
"hey, where are you?"
"on the bus right in front of your building"<-me
"Reall?! Are you going to Kahala to meet Amanda?"
"yea"<-me
"O! can you, like, get off and come up? *insert Chinese for asking for a ride from father* My dad can take us!"
*Bus leaves stop infront of building*
"ok, i get off the next stop"<-me
So, I wait for a bit at Lulu's apartment, am forced to take food (not that I mind, the japanese cookies were good, breakfast!)
We arive at Kahala, find Amanda, Saori and Penny. Turns out that we are going to lunch at this Japanese place in Aina Haina (so kill me, I don't know if that is the right way to spell it) and Penny is driving us. (well duh, Pen is the one with the car...) nice car, kind of a funny color, but I like it. Lulu gets call on her phone and talks on it the whole way there, turns out that she is talking to some one from Notre Dame, and this person is telling that they got her AP scores.. 5 in calc, 3 and 4 in econ, 4 in english (Pen, Saori and Amanda were all worried about the English)
The food was great, I loved it, but I didn't get to finish it all, i had to leave tempura on my plate.. I felt kinda funny, but when I got home that night, that is what i wanted to eat, the rest of my food.
Penny talked about what we could do during Spring break and thanksgiving when we get to washington. Penny also asked Lulu to get her a ND beani, and for me to get her one from seattle if I can, and we asked her the same thing. It was funny becuase we also talked about football, and the 'Touchdown Jesus' on the Lib that is right across from the football Statuim, and how by the time she grads, she will know football. they talked about Karaoki for Em's grad party, and Penny asked if they sung queens "Bohemian Rhapsody" and it was funny because penny started to sing it, and I joined her. not loudly mind you, but just enough so we could hear each other... (she was sitting in the corner and I was arcoss the the table next to amanda) We also talked about how she still want to go to the Rock and Roll hall of fame, and that there is a Rock and Roll place in Seattle. Anyway, Pen was nice enough to drive us back Kahala (she had to go to work) and we go to the alley, and meet Missy (who, by the way, is wearing a CSI shirt she got in Vegas, Lucky!!) As it turns out, the only ones prepared to bowl (meaning, we have socks) are Missy, Amanda and I. So Lulu and Saori go and play in the arcade.
Bowling was fun, Missy had her own ball (well, two of them, but the plural of ball doesn't look right if I were to use it in that sentance) and shoes, and she is really good, always got over 100, always.. damn it. anyway, so amanda and I are going for second. This evil old man next to us came and gave, of all people Missy, a lecure on the do's and dont's of bowling (something to that effect) well, acording to amanda that is what threw her game, but the first game I beat her by 5 points, and she said, and i quote
"I will make up those 5 points and win by ten!! Listen Missy, do you hear me"
"Yea, make up 5 and win by 10"
so, the next game, I get 104, she gets 80 something..
MUHAHAA! I haven't broke 100 in a long time (I am not as bad as Nat, thank you very much) we end the game, find Lulu and Saori, and leave for school, in Missy's truck and pick up our graduation and project grad videos (they have to give us our bacc. vids later, they screwed up) so, that is it, I went home with Lulu on the bus, we ran across the street to catch the bus, almost killed ourselves, it was not smart. We talked the whole way home, it was nice, I haven't gotten to talk to Lulu in a while, told her all about Notre Dame, what it was like when I went there a few years ago, what to expect, the evil Geese on the other side of the lake (they ATTACKED ME!) how it was really hot, but how it gets really cold in the winter, really really cold. We also talked about getting each other things in college. well, then she got off, then, i got off.. and I went and hung around the house till I fell alseep on my couch.. I hate sleeping on a couch. |
